Talking Therapy, Individuals & Couples
Individual Therapy
Sometimes the struggles in our lives feel overwhelming.
Coming to therapy will support you in exploring and normalising your feelings to help you to find your way forward.
By working together, we can create a safe and confidential space where we can explore whatever may be on your mind, in your own time. I believe that trust is central in building a successful therapeutic relationship.
Couples Therapy
I support couples to work out what their familiar patterns are and how to move forward.
Are you having troubles in your relationship? You love each other but something has to change? Do you struggle to communicate with each other? What needs to be said that you've been holding back? Is there anger and resentment? Are you possibly feeling ready to separate and need a space to explore those feelings?
There are many reasons that couples come into therapy and I will support you to explore what may be underlying and to help you move towards a solution.
About Me
I am an experienced Integrative Relational Counsellor which means I have trained in various approaches and this enables me to tailor our work together specifically to you. I work with adults aged 18+. I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Integrative Relational Counselling (first class honours) from Middlesex University and I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work in accordance with its ethical guidelines. I have additional training to work with couples.
I offer a service which is affirming of difference, non-judgemental and embedded within an anti-discrimination approach to the best of my ability. I have experience both within the NHS and other agencies working with many presenting concerns such anxiety, depression, low confidence and self-esteem, abuse, PTSD, bereavement, divorce, infertility, anger, sex related difficulties and menopause.
Fees and Sessions
I believe that it is important for you to find a therapist who is the right "fit" for you. I offer a free initial conversation (20 mins) to explore your expectations and needs and ensure that you feel I am the right person to help you. My fee for individuals is £65 for a 50 minute session and for couples is £85 for an hour session. Sessions are held weekly, on the same day and at the same time. Counselling can be both short term or open-ended, depending on what your specific concerns are.
