Annika Risch
Play Therapy

I have been working with children for more than 10 years in educational settings, private homes, and as part of the disability team for Achieving for Children, before completing my Master’s in Play Therapy and gaining accreditation with the British Association of Play Therapy.

I offer play therapy for children aged 4–12, providing a supportive environment where they can express emotions, work through difficulties, and begin to heal — all through the natural process of play.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many children who are neurodivergent, disabled, non-speaking, or have limited verbal communication. I approach this work with deep respect, flexibility, and curiosity — honouring each child’s unique rhythm, interests, and ways of connecting. Alongside this, I also work with a wide range of children navigating emotional and behavioural challenges.

Whatever your child is facing, I offer a safe, playful space where they can grow at their own pace. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific challenge or simply want a nurturing space for your child to process their world, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
