I'm Dr. Anthony Harrison, a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in both NHS and private practice settings.
My therapeutic approach (virtual or face-to-face) combines evidence-based treatments, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am committed to creating a compassionate, client-centered environment, helping individuals draw on their strengths and build psychological flexibility to navigate life's challenges. My goal is to make complex psychological concepts accessible and meaningful, fostering a safe space for healing and personal growth.
My primary areas of interest include supporting individuals in managing long-term health conditions and addressing a range of common and complex mental health issues.
I work with clients facing chronic health concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties. Through ACT, CBT, CFT, and EMDR, I guide clients in developing self-compassion, processing trauma, and building resilience and purpose.
Additionally, I am dedicated to expanding access to mental health resources, whether through collaborative programs, digital health initiatives, or translating research into practical, client-focused treatments.
