Caroline Beswick
Reflexology

Holistic Therapist practising Reflexology and Indian Head Massage, helping people restore balance to the body and mind.

Caroline holds a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology (Distinction) and a VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Indian Head Massage. She is also a member of the Association of Reflexology (MAR).

Reflexology is based on the principle that physical, emotional and mental health are intrinsically linked. In this ancient practice, the feet are seen as a “mirror” of the body, mapping out its interlinked structures, organs and systems.

Gentle massage and pressure is used on specific reflex points on the feet to release energy blockages and tension in corresponding areas of the body. This complementary treatment allows the body to heal itself naturally, promoting harmony, balance and wellbeing.

Reflexology can be used at any stage of life to improve sleep, promote positive energy flow (our “life force” or Qi), aid lymph and blood circulation, reduce stress and anxiety, support hormonal changes and create a feeling of deep relaxation. It’s suitable for babies, children, teenagers, conception, maternity, post-natal, menopause and older patients.

Each hour-long session begins and ends with a relaxing foot massage using an organic cream with essential oils. Sessions can be booked as a single treatment or a series over a period of months to help support and complement conventional medical approaches for specific issues such as pain, stress, insomnia and migraines.

Indian Head Massage can be used on its own as a 30-minute session (with or without natural oil) or in combination with reflexology for a “top to toe” blissful treatment to promote healing and relaxation. This treatment provides a beneficial and deeply relaxing acupressure massage to the head, scalp, neck, shoulders, arms and face.

With its roots in the Hindu health care practice of Ayurveda, Indian Head Massage has numerous benefits including:
• improving migraines and headaches
• relieving neck, back and shoulder pain,
• detoxifying the body by stimulating lymphatic drainage
• reducing stress and anxiety
• improving blood flow to aid concentration
• renewing energy levels
• promoting hair growth
