Whitney Yeung
Child & Adolescent Therapy, Child ADHD/Autism Assessment, Neurodiverse counselling, Psychotherapy

Hello, I’m Whitney. I have experience working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), supporting children and young people. I also have experience supporting adults with various challenges in life.

I provide counselling, psychotherapy, and autism diagnostic assessment. I have a particular interest in neurodevelopmental differences and aim for autism assessments to be holistic, respectful, and personally meaningful, helping individuals and families better understand their experiences, strengths, and needs.

My training was grounded in an integrative approach, including cognitive behavioural therapy, systemic and family perspectives, play therapy and other evidence-based frameworks. In my practice, I naturally gravitate towards person-centred, psychodynamic, and strength-based approaches, adapting my work to suit the needs and goals of each individual.

I also have a particular interest in supporting parents, including those preparing for parenthood or navigating the transition into early parenthood.
